Is there a way to have the source of where the table is being pulled from in the Fields section?
I'd like to be able to hover over the table name and see that the source is from (as an example) SalesForce, or NAV, or whatever I'm pulling it from. Right now it's limited to Name, Storage mode, Last refresh. I know I can rename them, but I'd like to avoid that.

Hi @Anonymous
Currently it doesn't support to display data source on the tooltip by default.
You could submit an idea here to let others know and vote for your idea and finally improve the feature of power bi.
Additionally, there is a workaround you amy have a try.
right-click on the table name, select "properties", enter data source name in the "Description" box, then you could see the data source name on the tooltip. It diaplay under the default items.
Best Regards
Maggie
