I need to keep a chart in tact for all periods while filtering the data on the client selected in another chart.
Thought this was the right route but can't get this to work:
Disregard Date filter when client is selected =
CALCULATE(
SUM(Sheet1[Amount]),
ALLEXCEPT(Sheet1,Sheet1[Client],Sheet1[Bucket],Sheet1[Date])
)
Example Data (also attached):
Region | Client | Date | Bucket | Amount |

Hi @bjw210 ,
According to your description, I did the test. It is a problem caused by the hierarchy of the date field. The reference is as follows:
Alternatively, you can use the Edit interactions function to filter the specified visuals.
If the problem is still not resolved, please point it out. Looking forward to your reply.

Have you considered disabling interactions for that visual? That'll give you the required filter exceptions without a need to code them manually.
I did consider that, but i need the Tom or Jane selection to pass to the visuals while not passing the dates.
