Show Value as Percent improvement

Hi, In many visuals (Ribbon Chart, Line Chart, ), you can only choose Show Value As...Percent of Grand Total when choosing how to display a value. While I know you can relatively easily create a percentage calculation using DAX, it seem like rudimentary functionality to be able to choose a columnar or row level context for summarization of percentatges.
