Show Power BI Parameter URL filter value in report slicer

Hello,

I am working on Power BI report URL filter using parameter. We have below URL created for the report:

https://abc.biz/reports/powerbi/browse/Report1?rs:Embed=true&filter=Sales/Domain eq 'XYZ'

When the Power BI report gets open, the default value in the slicer Domain should get selected as 'XYZ'

Is it possible to achieve that?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Rinku

Hi, @Rinku21

Based on my research, It is unsupported to set a default value in the slicer domain with a parameter URL filter. The level of URL filter is higher than that of slicer. For further information, you may refer to the following link.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-url-filters

Best Regards

Allan
