Should i use odbc driver or default connector to mysql db

Recently the default connector to mysql db had been added should i use it or the ODBC? Why?

You'd better use default connector and just install an additional component on your computer, and 

it can easy to get data.

Thanks for your reply, but what are tge differnces in tems of preformance ? Should i convert current reports from odbc to connector?

Deep talk is hard to say,  ODBC is a universal interface, and both odbc connector and default port are provided by MYSQL.

So this is neither good nor bad, since you have used odbc and if it works well, you don't need to convert it.
