Sharing the Power BI desktop file with a team member

I am planning to get Power Bi pro license for business. I was wondering if sharing the Power BI desktop file with another team member who does not have any license through pendrive would work? I just want to make sure they willl be able to see the dashboard when I share the report built in my power bi desktop using the Pro license.

are you saying you want them to download it from onedrive, the desktop file until you both get pro licences and share it on the power bi service?

No, I want to give it file using pendrive or share it thorugh inhouse local server. However, I am skeptical about the part that only I have a pro license ( when building the report)  and my team member have free version. Can they still open the file? Thank you for your promt response!

power bi desktop is free so anyone who has downloaded power bi desktop can look at the file. when you share from the power bi service everyone will need a pro license in order to access it.
