Hi,
Need your kind expertise again,
When I import a sharepoint list, I can see PowerBI creating lot of new columns. Some are with random name (for example contentTypeID, filesystemobjectId, etc..) and some columns are repetitive with a new name for example: C:xx
Can I delete these columns or Power BI needs them to refresh the content of the list?
Thanks,
Mohamed

Hi @abukapsoun,
>>Can I delete these columns or Power BI needs them to refresh the content of the list?
You not need to care about remove operation, delete columns not effect the original datasources.
In addition, if you have any reference on these column(create visuals or calculated on them), you can't direct remove these reference columns.

Xiaoxin Sheng

You should be able to delete them without any worries. These are "hidden" fields in the list.
