Hi, I am uploading a lot of Excel files from a sharepoint folder into Power BI, my question is:
how can I know which of the files are not being uploaded due to errors? the users want to know if any of the files has format errors in order to correct it.
Thanks,
Hi @Anonymous
Can you share some visuals? It is not very clear what you are doing with those file i.e. are you loading each as its own query, or combining them, appending them etc.?
Thanks for your response,
I am combining the files using the Helper Querie and the Transform Sample File. The thing is, some files have errors but I am not quite sure how to detect them in order to correct them.
Is there a way to capture the errors and show them in the report? (In a Health Check tab for example)
Hi @Anonymous
From my experience, the helper queries and tranform sample files are very stringent in terms of how they work. All files have to have the exact same structure for it to work properly.
I personally have not come across error handling in this regard.
