Sharepoint Folder: "Access to the resource is forbidden."

Hello

I add a sharepoint folder https://domain.com/sites/AWRPA0433/

I can access this via web but PowerBI says "Access to the resource is forbidden."

Any idea?

Hi @UsePowerBI ,

You could refer to my post for details. In addition, you also need to click Edit Queries->Datasoure Setting to delete your orginal credential on sharepoint, then re-connect it and make sure your credential is correct and have permission to access foler.

Zoe Zhi

Hi @UsePowerBI ,

To connect to SharePoint folder, the specified URL should be site URL which is similar to:

https://microsoft.sharepoint.com/teams/sitename

If your site is Office365, please enter Microsoft Account using windows credentails.

I created this blog post with video for a similar question. https://marqueeinsights.com/how-to-merge-multiple-excel-files-with-power-bi/ This shows you the steps to get connected.

Hope this helps!
