Sharepoint Folder - Not being able to grab folder ...

I am not finding another with the similar issue, if there is I apologize for the duplicate.

We are trying to load in a file from sharepoint that is nested within a folder on our Sharepoint site. For example we have it inside a folder looking like this - Folder 1> Folder 2 > Excel file we would like to pull in.

When we load just the site URL for this site using connect to sharepoint folder, it attempts to load only the files at the root. Does anyone have experience here?
