SharePoint to power bi

Hi
I have data in SharePoint in this format.
Cust name, cust sales, cust comment
A. 56 good
B. 23

If some user makes changes in the cust comment in SharePoint I should only be able to import that particular row in power bi. For eg if someone commented good for customer A Then only customer A row should be imported in power bi and not customer b row. Please help me if there's any dax or SQL or any other method I can use. Sorry I am unable to share the data as it's confidential. Thanks

Hi @NISH72 ,

You should publish the report to service to keep it being refreshed.

This is a feature called Incremental Refresh, and is only available in PowerBI Premium.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-premium-incremental-refresh < look for the section on Detect data changes

The other way would be to set up a live connection, which pulls current data every time.

Thanks for the reply. Actually I want to see the changes in power bi desktop and don't want to publish the reports to workspace and I cant connect live because data source is SharePoint. Thanks please help me with this

Unfortunately there is no way to currently only update data where there are changes detected in Power BI Desktop. It either pulls the entire dataset, or nothing at all.

No. I want to populate the fields in power bi desktop if the changes are detected in SharePoint. For eg if row 1 is edited in SharePoint then populate only row 1 in power bi desktop not row 2. Thanks
