SharePoint online list Data Source The Property EnableRequestSignOff does Not Exist on Type SP.List

Hi All,

I'm using the SharePoint Online list connector, but it has broken recently with the error in the Subject.  The refresh works fine in PowerBI.Com service but not when opening the report in Power BI Desktop.

The property relates to the "Request Sign-Off" feature that Microsoft has been rolling out.

Anyone know how to switch this feature off, or how to configure the SharePoint Online List connector to work with it?

Setting the API version to 14 and reconfiguring my Power Query steps seems to work, but i'm after a simple solution if one is around.

Thanks

Alex

For me it's just the other way round. The report refreshes correctly in Power BI desktop, but when refreshing in the service, it throws this error. I have several reports using the same list as data source in exactly the same way, but only two of them are affected, but not randomly, these two always fail, while the others always work. Help please.

Hi @athomp15,

The same is happening to my Power BI reports since yesterday.

However, I get this error from most (but not all) of my scheduled refreshes in the Service - sometimes a report connected to a SP list gets refreshed and other times this same error.

In Desktop, I am often unable to even connect to a SP online list - all I get is this same error.

I too really need help regarding the Request Sign-Off feature.

Br,
