SharePoint Online ODATA listdata.svc - Unable to connect

I get an error "Access to the resource is forbidden" connecting to the following ODATA connection (replaced internal names with sampel text):

https://CONTOSO.sharepoint.com/sites/SUBSITE/_vti_bin/listdata.svc

This same URL when entered in a browser returns the WSDL XML data, so it is a valid URL and I do have access.  Could MFA or some other factor be blocking access?

Hi,

Try below steps,

Open blank power bi file and go to file tab>  options and settings >Data source setting

Clear all global permissions which link to sharepoint links and try to reconnect the file

The above error could occur when using wrong log-in option to connect to SharePoint.

If your site is Office365, please enter organizational credential using the third option in the above screenshot. If your site is on premise, use Windows credentials as you mentioned. In addition, make sure that you use the latest version 2.73.5586.1101 of Power BI Desktop.
