Shape Map Location Undefined

Hi there,

Been using the shape maps function in PowerBI but can't seem to get the data to link up with the map. The data is for the ABS SA4 statistical region. I've checked that the area codes are consistent with the attribute data in the JSON file but i seem to keep getting 'undefined' when i hover over with my cursor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ed

Hi, The selection for using shape map custom visual had been disabled on Options pane. You should enable it again. (Options --> Preview Features --> Shape Map Visual ) Bests,

I'd like to suggest you take a look at official document about use custom topojson data to make a custom shape map region.

In addition, if power bi can't recognize imported data, it may means your data not suitable for data structure which visual requires.
