I have SQL server as my data source for a BI project. Of course, working on the Virtual Machine is Slower but enables Power Query. Working on the Local Side after loading data is not possible due to Power Query insisting on a broken connection to the SQL Server. How can I work with Power Query locally without connection issues? I don't require to refresh data until the project is done.
What are the setting /Configurations for this?

Hi @Datagulf ,
For this you need to connect to the SQL server on the settings of the Power BI when you make the connection to the SQL.
When you setup the connection the first field is the server if you select the correct connection it will work locally, how are you making the SQL connectio?
Are you abble to connect locally to your SQL by another program like Excel?
