Hello,
I have a PowerBI report which parts of contain fairly sensitive data. The sensitive data we don't want the public to be able to see. I have tried a variety of solutions, but none have met my requirements.
The first involved using the Text Filter visualization and making buttons avialable to the more sensitive information once a full string of text was entered (see this guide https://exceleratorbi.com.au/show-or-hide-a-power-bi-visual-based-on-selection/). This was unsuccesful because the user could enter any part of the string and "search" and it would reveal the buttons.
The second involved this guide here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/adding-password-box-power-bi-report-wyn-hopkins/. This doesn't work because the list of passwords is revealed if you view the text filter as a table.
Any help or suggestions anyone is willing to lend would be much appreciated!
Hi @NDUSER21 ,
Why not set row-level security directly in Power BI:
