Setting end date in date filter to the current date as default

In our project requirement we have one requirement to set the end date in date filter to the current date as default which can later be changed in the slicer.We are using date key of calender table for this filter.Any help on this will be much appreciated.

Create the measure as follows in your calendar table.

EndDate = CALCULATE(MAX('Calendar'[Date]),ALLSELECTED('Calendar'[Date]))

Then create the following measure in your table and drag the measure to visuals and set its value to 1.

IfCurrentDate = IF(MAX('Table'[Date])=[EndDate],1,0)

If the above steps don't help, please share sample data of your table and post expected result.
