Set X-axis gridline to point at the beginning of week

Hi,

I would like to have vertical gridline on linechart to point start of each week (each Monday). My data are daily and by default Power BI displays MM YYYY and adds gridline only at the beginning of the monthimage.png

Can anyone help?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Select the visualization and go to Format settings and --> X axis --> and change the Type to "Categorical".

Default setting will be on "Continuous". Below is the screenshot for your reference.

Hope this will help you.

Hi,

changing axis to categorical disables gridlione option entirely. I think categorical date is treated as text and therefore gridlines aren't supported. https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/line-chart-gridlines/td-p/569721

Best regards
