Hi all,

I am using excel as datasource, but sometimes when one numeric column comes empty (blank()), power pivot is converting the column to text becasue there is no data in there. 

Is there any way to fix the column format to number?

In PowerQuery you can change the data type of a column that you are loading.  PowerQuery tries to make a guess but sometimes can't determine.

We can do the same in Power Pivot changing the data type, I have found a way to swtich to zero when the column is blank sorting the issue out.
