Hi everyone,
I have a need for users to choose which columns they select in a Power BI report, but I'm struggling to find a way to get this to work. Basically, I have a table with columns such as Contact, Address, Education, Employment etc, and I'd like the users to be able to choose whether or not they see the Education and Employment fields.
I've tried using a Slicer and Unpivoting the columns, but I get the 'UNPIVOT' statement is not supported error (I'm using Direct Query to a SQL Server).
Do you know of any other way that I can achieve this?
Many thanks
Jon

@jonclay , Yes unpivot does not work in power bi direct query.
My advice would be to correct the table at the source database.
