Select a value column to display with the help of a slicer

Hello,

If I have this type of table (see the screenshot below) is it possible to choose which value to use (the "value1" column or the "value2" column) in a single schema, using a slicer?

Example of the scheme I want to use

I tried to do it, with the help of a new column "BankCode" but I'm not finding any solutions...

I hope you understood me,

Thanks, Thomas

Hi @Anonymous ,

If I got it correctly, you can try the following setps:

  1. Create a new table which has a new column 'Value', contains 'value1' and 'value2', just need enter data manuallynew table.png
  2. Create a meaure by this formula:

Value =
IF (
    SELECTEDVALUE ( Test[Value] ) = "value1",
    SUM ( 'Table'[Value1] ),
    IF ( SELECTEDVALUE ( Test[Value] ) = "value2", SUM ( 'Table'[Value2] ) )
)

  • Put this measure in the Values field of the column chart, create a slicer and put the 'Value' column in it
  • The result may like this:value1.pngvalue2.png

Sample file is attached that hopes to help you, please check and try it: Select a value column to display with the help of a slicer.pbix

By the way, why the value1 in your picture is the same value each year...not certain
