Hi,
I would like to filter my charts in the report as I select an individual cell in a table that I created in the report. I have a set of data of 1,000 companies. There are Data A, B, and C that each cover a number of companies as implied in the table. Each company is one data point. I've calculated the distinct values of data and the maximum frequency of repeated values. I have a seperate pie chart that shows the industries these companies are in and a seperate table that shows all the companies, including the company ID and company name. I know that when I select Data A, the pie chart will show the industries of Data A, but is it possible to select the cell '4' so I can see what sectors are the ones that have the same value of data, or to see which companies are they?
Coverage | Distinct Values | Max frequency of repeated values | |
Data A | 200 | 195 | 4 |
Data B | 300 | 250 | 6 |
Data C | 500 | 490 | 2 |
Just saw this topic. When I select a cell, says 'Data A200' in this example, can we filter out all records of the same value ('Data A200')? Thanks
Hi @wsspglobal ,
Unfortunately you can't select a cell value as a filter in Power BI. If you do so it selects the complete row.
If you want to achieve something like create a filter MAX FREQUENCY column in it.
Thanks,
