Estoy en proceso de migrar hacia Power BI, pero no he logrado encontrar algo de referencia de cómo Power BI podría resolver esta situación, que la tengo resuelta muy fácilmente con el BI que se está utilizando en este momento.
Recibo diferentes archivos de Excel que contienen líneas con diferentes nombres relacionados a un mismo código. Es el mismo producto, pero cada fuente lo puede definir de forma diferente.
Cómo puedo hacer para que Power BI seleccione un solo nombre por cada código diferente con el fin que se agrupen los datos en las visualizaciones que hacen referencia a cada descripción. Hoy lo que se hacemos es que el BI selecciona un nombre que tiene definido sea el más reciente para cada código y de esta manera se representan en las visuales los datos en una sola línea.
Este es un ejemplo de la forma como se reciben los datos:

I'd like to suggest you go to 'Query Editor', click 'Add Columns'=>'Index Column'=>'Close and Apply'.
Then you may create a calculated table as below.
