See Records Option not available when using SSAS as connection

Is there a way to activate "See Records" when using a cube connection? The community dialog suggests this option is not available.

My problem is I need to be able to prove to my user-base the elements that are included in a sub-total to properly assess the level of trust a user can apply to the sub total.  For example

- When viewing staffing levels data, my graph says I have 10 employees in my team when I "know" I have 12.

- My 1st question will be "who is in and who is out"

- If not quickly and easily answered the system is thrown out with the trash irrespective of accuracy

The answer to be proved is almost always the temporality of the data (month old) vs my users' understanding (now). But this has to be proved concretely & quickly.

How is the proof to be made available to the end user.

"See Records" is not avaialbe when you open a live connection to SSAS.

In Power BI Desktop, for connecting SSAS, either Tabular or Multidimensional, it's not possible to see the detail limited rows or sets defined in Role setting.

I have created another way to see sub total breakdown information so the "See Records" option is now a nice to have.

What did you do?

Since this is a standard feature when browsing a cube in Excel, I'm wondering whether this is planned for Power BI or not? It seems like an odd choice to leave this out.
