Security log in using a SharePoint list's data

Hello,

 

I'm working on a report based on a sharepoint list.

In this list there is a column with the person name, I was using slicers to display the right report to the user. But the problem is that users can access other users report.

 

The user column is like this "Name FirstName". I was thinking of using the USERNAME() Dax function and compare it using the EXACT function with  a concat of the user column to have the email.

 

Sadly the USERNAME() function can't be use in a new column.

 

Is there a way to solve my problems?

USERNAME() function returns the username from the credentials given to the system at connection time.

It is dynamic so you could not use it to create a column.

and for your case you could use USERNAME() function with Row-level security (RLS).
