Scheduling Extract Data in csv/xlsx

Hi,

I have created a table in which there are some values, some columns and some measures.

I need to extract data in csv/xlsx and I would like to know if there is an automated way to do that. Is there a way to schedule extraction of the csv/xlsx in a specific folder (like sharepoint and/or onedrive)? actually, it is a manual task bt could be really useful to have this kind of functionality..

Thanks for the support

Massimo

Hi @Anonymous ,

It is not supported to implement your demand in Power BI currently .There is an idea about this issue, please vote it up, https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/13832208-auto-scheduled-export-of-data, to improve the Power BI.

It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

We also submitted this feedback to the product group internally, so that the product group can pay attention to this problem and speed up the issue repairing.

However, in Power BI Desktop, you can use R script as a workaround, each time you run the visual or update the dataset, the data in table will be exported. For more details, please check alanhodgson's reply in this similar thread.

Best Regards,

Amy
