Hi, I have about 15 PowerBI reports I have to publish every morning.
This is an hour every morning updating reports. Is there any way I can set them to automatically refresh and publish, or at least refresh, every morning at a certain time?
It may be that this is a possibility, but I don't see it, as I am not the original creator of the reports.
Would be a huge help!
Thanks!
Hi, @APM
According to your description, you want to update your 15 PowerBI reports in an hour every morning.
To automatically refresh the underlying dataset of each report in a regular time, you can set the scheduled refresh for your datasets and set the scheduled time according to your requirement. You can refer to this document:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/refresh-data#data-refresh
In my opinion, if you set the scheduled time within one hour for every dataset, it may cause memory usage and queuing problems. So I think the Onedrive refresh can be a better choice for you, it will refresh every hour and can update with the metadata and data from the .pbix. And Power BI also triggers a data refresh as part of an on-demand refresh. (It is equivalent to re-uploading the pbix file)
