Is there away I can schedule export data to excel on a daily basis from my PowerBi report?

You could use Paginated Reports to get this done by connecting it to the same dataset. And then using the Subscription email from Paginated reports and attach the Excel file. For more details, please refer to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/paginated-reports-subscriptions

No. The tool MS has for that is a Power BI dataset connector in Excel from Office 365 that allows you to refresh Excel from a Power BI report. Or you can use the older Analyze in Excel feature.
DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
