Scatter plot with date and number

So I'm trying to make a scatter plot using dates on the x axis and numbers on the y axis using this data.

Dates                    Number

1/3/2019	1
1/3/2019	2
2/2/2019	3
3/5/2019	1
3/1/2019	2
4/3/2019	3
4/4/2019	1
5/8/2019	3
5/10/2019	1
5/4/2019	1

But I keep getting mismatched fields error. Essentially i'm trying to make

which I made in excel, but in power Bi.

My bad.  I'm not sure you can do that with the native scatter chart.  It is frustrating that scatter charts are not simpler/better.  It is possible to easily make one in Charticulator (see pic below).  I can upload this pbiviz if interested, but you could likely make one better with a little more time.  Note that an Index column is needed with pbiviz from Charticulator, which can be easily added in the query editor for your table.

I pasted your data in and the scatter chart worked fine.  Can you describe your situation more?

That's the sums, which do seem to work, but when I set the numbers to not summarize I get the error.
