1 have 2 issues
1. I created a scatter chart with Month Name of X axis, company name as legends and Y axis as sales. But X axis is not sorting on month name even when I have made Month Name to Sort by Month number. In same diagrm if I am using Month Number then it sorts correctly.
2. While doing this I observed that when I have Month name on X axis, I dont see all the company names and it shows that "i" sign above the chart on right corner saying cant display all the company names, but when I do the same with Month Number then it shows all the comapny names and its values.
Please let me know it is some limitation of the scatter chart.
Not sure who is responsible to design the scatter charts in PowerBI Desktop. In the X-axis, there is no. of items it can sort if your X-axis had only 8 items. If more than that it can't sort. I am not sure it was a limitation or was it a design error. I hope MS Power BI Desktop could correct the limitation/error.

Hi @gauravtomer ,
" But X axis is not sorting on month name even when I have made Month Name to Sort by Month number. In same diagrm if I am using Month Number then it sorts correctly."
(1) If your [Month] column comes from a calculated column, The visual will automatically sort for you.
Month_name = table[Date].[Month]
(2) If your [Month] column is the source data, it can not be sorted correctly.
"I dont see all the company names and it shows that "i" sign above the chart on right corner saying cant display all the company names, but when I do the same with Month Number then it shows all the comapny names and its values."
You try to stretch the picture a bit larger.
Please refer to my sample .pbix file.

@v-lionel-msft hi, can you have a look at my case? https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Unable-to-sort-by-month-when-using-scatter-chart/m-p/160795...
I've tried your suggestion but it doesn't seem to work.
@gauravtomer Tough to say exactly, screen shots might help.

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
