I have a simple dashboard that essentially allows users to select a record from a table using a slicer, and which then populates a report based on that single row. This works fine, but I'd also like to include a scatter plot that shows where the selected record falls within the entire data set, but that's where I'm running into trouble; at the moment, selecting a record from the slicer then removes all others from the scatter chart, as expected, leaving me with a scatter of one!
Is there a way to either make my scatter chart ignore the slicer, so it always displays the entire dataset?
I've tried using the ALL function in DAX to create a column that ignores any filtering, but I think I'm probably using it wrong as it's not working and I get an error message about supplying a table where a single value is expected.
Also, while I'm asking for help, if there is a way to do the above, is there a way that I can set the chart to "call out" or highlight the value selected in the slicer, essentially pointing out where that record falls in the data?

Thanks; super obvious solution that I just wasn't aware of!
I don't suppose there's an option as easy as that to call out a specific dot/point within a chart, depending on a slicer?
