Scale Data based on first value in a group

Hi

I have data on the following form

CategoryDateValue
A2022-01-012
A2022-01-023
A2022-01-031
B2022-01-014
B2022-01-026
B2022-01-035

I wish to dived eatch values with the first value in each group

CategoryDateValueNew Value
A2022-01-0121
A2022-01-0231.5
A2022-01-0310.5
B2022-01-0141
B2022-01-0261.5
B2022-01-0351.25

Further more i have a slicer on the Date column and need it to recalculate if the date slicer is changed. So if the date slicer was change to be after 2022-01-01 the result would be this

CategoryDateValueNew Value
A2022-01-0231
A2022-01-0310.3333
B2022-01-0261
B2022-01-0350.8333

Hope someone can help me with this. thanks

Thanks to the great efforts by MS engineers to simplify syntax of DAX! Most beginners are SUCCESSFULLY MISLED to think that they could easily master DAX; but it turns out that the intricacy of the most frequently used RANKX() is still way beyond their comprehension!

DAX is simple, but NOT EASY!
