Save Imported Theme under switch themes in power bi desktop

Hi,

Is there any way that imported theme can be stored under switch theme in Power BI desktop?

if it not can anyone let me know is this feature is in Roadmap?

This should be basic feature and easy to switch between the themes that we imported.

Quick help would be appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Currently, you can just import and apply the theme to Desktop. It is not supported to store it in the list of Switch Theme.

To make Power BI better, you can vote up the similar idea.

Add imported theme to "Switch Theme" menu

Xue

According to the thread below, the theme is imported into the PBIX file itself so it lives in that specific file. I looked at the files within the Power BI folder and came across:

Microsoft.PowerBI.Client.Windows.Themes.dll

My guess is that the themes are living in that file. So, it doesn't look like there is a way to get the theme stored into Desktop itself.
