Hi,
I am using sameperiodlastyear for calculating last year sales, qty etc. in my report. My exact formula is below:
LY Sales = calculate(sum('RetailStoreLevel'[Sales]),SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(DATEADD(Calendar[Date],+1,DAY)))
I need to compare day to day. It started giving me wrong LY sales on Feb.29,2020. I am using calendar table which has LastYearDate which is correct as below. How can use the Lastyeardate column from calendar in my formula to get correct last year sales? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous ,
You don't need to create a measure, just add last year's sales to visual table to achieve the same period comparison.
If that doesn't solve your problem, please give a complete sample data model.
Best regards,
Lionel Chen
