Same Period Last Year Invalid Return

Hello,

I am getting wrong values using the SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR measure.

= CALCULATE (
[New Hire],
FILTER ( ALL ( 'FY Calendar'[Date] ), 'FY Calendar'[Date] <= MAX ( 'FY Calendar'[Date] ) ), SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR ( 'FY Calendar'[Date] )
)

What I am trying to get is the total headcount in the previous year. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

So what's wrong with the result of the measure? To be general, you may modify your measure like pattern below and check if it can meet your requirement:

Measure =
CALCULATE ( [New Hire], SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR ( 'FY Calendar'[Date] ) )
