Hi All,
I'm having an issue where a standard field is not being pulled into Power BI. I am using the Salesforce Object connector and have verified that the field is visible and that my user profile has access to the field. I also noticed that other standard fields within the object are not being pulled either. I tried using my google-fu to see if this is a known issue, but didn't get any solid results. I need to pull the standard field as I need it as a filter.
Thanks in advance for any help/info. on this!

Hi, were you able to find a solution? I've used the Salesforce connector but I had some issues with my data too. As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I've tried windsor.ai, supermetrics and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Salesforce connector in the data sources list:
After that, just grant access to your Salesforce account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your Salesforce fields:
There just select the fields you need. It is also compatible with custom fields and custom objects, so you'll be able to export them through windsor. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Do you connect to Salesforce in Power BI Service or Power BI Desktop? If you are using Desktop, what version of Power BI Desktop do you use? Are you able to sign in Salesforce in web browser?
Best Regards,
Kelly
