Salesforce Object with relationship expanding related tables is very slow

After importing Salesforce Object with Related Tables, expanding the related tables is turning out to be very very slow. I have tried changing different setting under Options>>Data Load but that didn't help.

Kindly advice.

Hi @RM7 ,

I read about alternative apps like widsor etc but i dropped that idea for two reasons first of all I couldn't trust it with my orgs data secondly it needs involvement of Google sheets which further increases security concern & also make it more complicated.

Microsoft is yet to overcome SFDC Connector slowness issue in PowerBi (Workarounds are not trustworthy). PowerBi still has long way to become trustworthy, robust Bi solution. Current there's no option but to wait for refresh to complete & that's what i do.

Hi @Addy2020 ,

Try to :

1)Shut off data previews in the background

2) Shut off parallel loading of tables

Similar case refer:

Already applied that, still it's slow may be Salesforce API to be blamed for it

Hi @amitchandak ,

I tried memory changes you suggested but now everytime i open the pbix file it has to load all the tables & query data again which sometimes taking 10-12 hours & hence system closing it.

The other two steps you suggested won't apply in my case as mine is a salesforce datasource with millions of data not the json source.

@Addy2020 , In create memory management cache. 8- 10 GB. Supported by RAM and Virtual Memory.

Make sure the Hard disk has free space so that virtual RAM can be used.

Try these setting
