Salesforce Data Flow

Hi all

I created a data flow in power BI web, connecting this flow to a salesforce object (opportunity). So far ok.
I saved, updated, scheduled the next update. As shown (image1)

So, in power BI desktop when trying to import the data flow I created, the data does not appear. (image2)

Can anyone help me if I did something wrong?

Regards

Hi, @Anonymous

Please check the transformations you have made on the entities. For further information, you may refer to the following link.

Hi, were you able to find a solution? I've used the Salesforce objetc connector but I had some issues with my data. As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I've tried windsor.ai, supermetrics and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Salesforce connector in the data sources list:

After that, just grant access to your Salesforce account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your Salesforce fields:

There just select the fields you need. It is also compatible with custom fields and custom objects, so you'll be able to export them through windsor.  Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.

Hi Mozart,

Just curious to know if this issue of recognizing Date related column in power BI desktop has been solved or not?

@v-alq-msft Thanks your reply.

With the suggestion of the link, I verified that the problem is in the date fields. In fact, when I import only columns with formats other than date, it works correctly. It was enough to insert a column with date, the flow does not work. Even if I change the date column to text, the flow does not work.

Any other suggestions?

Best

Mozart
