Hi All
I am new to DAX, I am using SUMX in Power Bi Desktop and created a measure named MTD Var % Sumx and the the calculation is shown below
SUMX(
vw_DSF_Final,
vw_DSF_Final[CY MTD]/vw_DSF_Final[PY MTD]-1)*100
I want the grand total to appear as -16.88 (as per above image) and this comes from the calculation as
=((6065/7293)-1)*100
But the Grand Total I am getting in Power BI is different from Excel -- see below. How do I correct the DAX calculation above to get -16.84 as the grand total for the column MTD Var % SumX

Hi,
The SUMX function should not be required. Try this measure
=vw_DSF_Final[CY MTD]/vw_DSF_Final[PY MTD]-1
Format this measure as a %
Hope this helps.
Hi @zahids,
Could you please mark the proper answers as solutions?
Best Regards,
Dale
