SUMMARIZE OR SUMMARIZECOLUMN with filter or condition

Hi all,

 

Can we use SUMMARIZE or SUMMARIZECOLUMN with filtering certain condition or criteria first ?

Yes, SUMMARIZE() takes a table as first argument. Hence, you can give a filtered table as input:

xyz = SUMMARIZE(FILTER(Table1, Table1[Column1] <> FALSE), Table1[Column2], "Total", SUM(Table1[Column3])

The key part here is the FILTER(table, expression) part where we give a filtered table to summerize.
