SUM(table1[Y]) IF ( table1[X] IN table2[X] )

Hi,

I have 2 tables and both have column X but table1 has more X-values than table 2 has.

Now I need to SUM table1[Y] IF table1[X] IN table2[X].

Can anyone help with the DAX formula?

Hi @Anonymous,

Measure to do that.

CALCULATE (
    SUM ( Table1[y] ),
    FILTER ( Table1, [X] IN VALUES ( 'Table2'[X] ) )
)

@Anonymous if you create a realtionship between the 2 tables and plot it on a visual in Power BI it will happen automatically. If you don't succeed maybe share sample data and I will share a PBIX with the solution.
