SSL/TLS Error when connecting to web source

Hello,

I have been trying to connect to a local Tenable SC server we have and keep having this error when using my Windows creds. I have looked at numerous other articles and posts but nothing is working.

The server has no certificate so when you even try going to it it requires you to proceed by acknowledging it is unsafe. Is there a way to still get powerbi to connect even though it's like this?

Hi, @DeedsPowerBi

It’s my pleasure to answer for you.

According to your description, Do you use API to connect to the data source? What is the error message content?

Maybe you can try the method mentioned in this article.

If it doesn’t solve your problem, please feel free to ask me.

Best Regards

Janey Guo

Hi @DeedsPowerBi

Nope, you will need to install an SSL cert on the server and/or configure it to not ask you to acknowledge that it is unsafe.
