SAP HANA and PowerBI

Hello Experts,

At the moment our users are facing problems in connecting SAP PowerBI with SAP HANA because of different password for SAP ECC and SAP HANA database. If i enable the single sign on between SAP ECC and SAP HANA Studio, can the users access SAP HANA from Power BI using their SAP ECC password.  Please advice.

Hi vivekselvam,

I am not sure this is possible to conenct directly.

You need to migrate data from SAP HANA to SQL by using SSIS or some ETL tools and then connect it to Power BI.

Though, we have Data source conenctor "SAP HANA Connector" in Power BI but this will not work for you.
