Can you please share your experience with SAP BW - Power BI. If possible a pbix file .
Is it advisable to strongly recommend Power BI as a tool for visualisation, as opposed to QlikView / Tableau.
I have gone through the documents on SAP BW and Power BI. There are quite a limitation. Any experience on how they can be overcome. Is there a way to connect to the underlying data tables in SAP BW than the cubes.
Any help will be appreciated.

I'm not an expert on SAP BW. and I did a lot of research, it seems that it is difficult to connect to the underlying data tables in SAP BW than the cubes. See if anyone else can give you some advice.

Hi CheenuSing, I am a BW installer, and I have installed BW some 15 times in the past 20 years; now I work for a firm called Simplement; We have a product called the SAP Data Liberator, which processes all the key SAP tables, in real-time, directly into SQL Server. We resolve all of the complexities and transformations, so you see all of the key tables exactly as they are in SAP.
Separately we have built data models (fact tables, and all of the Dimensions tables) for all of the major modules in SAP.
So, once you have all of your key business data sitting in SQL server, Power BI becomes easy and fun.
