Hi All.

Im working on a inventory overview and have a table with inventory value(up to current month), purchase orders(comming in the feature), sales(current) and expected sales(future).

I can't work around how to sum up the future inventory value giving the current and then using the incomming purchase orders minus the expected sales orders? So i get a summed forecast of the inventory.

I can calculate the first comming month but cant seem to make the secound comming month use the first comming month summed up value as a starting point.

Hope that one of you will have a solution

best,

Esben

Hi , @Esbenbay

According to your description, you want to  make the secound comming month use the first comming month summed up value as a starting point?

Do you mean this calculation process is iterative loop accumulation? Need to calculate the next value based on the calculation result of the above value? If so, DAX can be difficult to implement, and it is recommended to use Power Query for requirements that involve the accumulation of loop iterations.

If this method does not meet your needs, you can provide us with your special sample data and the desired output sample data in the form of tables, so that we can better help you solve the problem.

Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!
