Running Total that captures both additions and expiration

I am using a calendar visual that I need to capture a daily running total of IDs that can be added any day, or expired at any day. So far I can capture the running total that exist now, but can't capture when any are expired.

IDcount = CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT('Plan Allocation Spread'[vendor_id]),
FILTER(
GROUPBY(ALL('Plan Allocation Spread'),
'Plan Allocation Spread'[load_date],'Spread Calendar'[Date]),
'Plan Allocation Spread'[load_date]<=MAX('Spread Calendar'[Date])),
'Plan Allocation Spread'[expiration_date] = BLANK())

I can also single out the expirations but it is only returning the count for the day that it occurred and not the days after.

 new2 = CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT('Plan Allocation Spread'[vendor_id]),
FILTER(
GROUPBY(ALL('Plan Allocation Spread'),
'Plan Allocation Spread'[load_date],'Plan Allocation Spread'[expiration_date],'Spread Calendar'[Date]),
'Plan Allocation Spread'[load_date]<=MAX('Spread Calendar'[Date]) && 'Plan Allocation Spread'[expiration_date]=SELECTEDVALUE('Spread Calendar'[Date])))

But what I want is it to be 552 on April 1 and 551 thereafter.

Above is sample data. So for April on 4/1 the count of vendors should be 5 (123, 321, 456, 231, 546). And it should remain 5 until 4/8 when it changes to 4 because 546 was expired. And stay 4 until 4/10 when it should be 5 again because 654 was loaded.
