I have an issue where the row totals are overstated but the grand total is correct. The source is a tabular model and when I connect Excel to the model in a pivot table, everything is correct but for some reason Power BI is duplicating the row totals. The underlying measure is a SUMX. Any ideas on what might be going on?
@Anonymous , without looking at data difficult to say.
but if you are using a formula like
sumx(Table, sum(Table[value]))
use like
sumx(Table, calculate(sum(Table[value])))
Hello all. Sorry for the late response. I deleted all my relationships and started over. It appears that one of my relationships was causing the issues. Thanks so much for your help!
Hi @Anonymous ,
This is related to how you use the filter conditions in the sumx function.
You can search the forums for how to create measure that meet your requirements.
If the problem persists, please provide more details to let us know about your scenario.
Best Regards,
Liang
