Row level security to see organization data for different users

Hi all,

Request your help on this :

We have a table containing emailids of some people outside our orgainization and also within our organization.The requirement is that when these people log on they are going to see all the detail only of their organizations(all data related to them as well as of others who belong to same organization).

Please can you help me with the dax expression .

I tried applying a filter on organization name column in manage roles in power bi desktop but this not at all working:

LOOKUPVALUE([Organization Name],Emailid,USERNAME())

My objective is to pick up organization name if the emailid of the person logged on is there in emailid column.

Thnaks,

Saranee

@saranee,

The following DAX filter expression works for me. You might also need to check the relationship.

[Organization Name] = LOOKUPVALUE(Table1[Organization Name],Table1[Emailid],USERPRINCIPALNAME())
