Hello All,

I have 2 dashboard (rapid market insight and rapid usage metrics )in my workspace

i have a sharepoint list

user	Rapid Market Insight	Rapid Usage Metrics
Tom	NO	YES
Prash	YES	NO
Sam	YES	YES

My requirement is based on the SharePoint list I have to grant the access at the Row Level Security

For example

For the Rapid Market Insight dashboard only the users Prash and Sam should have the access

This SharePoint list is dynamic there will be new users added and removed

How can I limit the access at the row level based on the SharePoint list ( in the SharePoint if the rapid market Insight is YES then the users should have the access to view the data, If it is NO then the usres shouldn’t have the access )

Hi @Prasala583 

you can created roles, rules and set RLS for a dataset in the Power BI service. In your table, there are 2 different reports Rapid Market Insight & Rapid Usage Metrics, if they are created based on the same dataset, you can set RLS for this dataset.

@Prasala583 Are you looking for ROW level security or Report permissions? You'll need to pull the SharePoint list into the datasets for both reports if you want to use it to dynamically edit the access to the data within the reports, but you haven't detailed which rows they should have access to so not sure which DAX filter function to have you use. We need to know what the data model (tables, relationships) looks like and what data those users should be able to access.
