Hi,
I set Row Level Security but users can still see all the records even if they are not allowed to.
At the same time it works fine when using DAX query from inside SQL Server Management Studio, users can only see rows they have access to.
I am using SQL Server 2017
Power BI Report Server Version: 2.73.5586.1501 64-bit (September 2019)
Any idea why the row filter does not work in Power BI Report Server?
So you are using the directions here?
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/row-level-security-report-server
Thanks Greg for replying, yes, I am doing the same steps except I am doing it in directly in SQL Server Analysis Services.
It also works fine if I query the model using DAX. The problem happens in PBI RS only.
It was a bug known as awareness before, but was fixed by the EOD 3/4/2020 . could you please try again?
If still not work, please kindly raise it to the support team for better research.

Thank you @v-diye-msft , How can I download the fix please?
Is it a fix for Power BI Desktop RS or SQL Server Report Server?
I am using Analysis Services onprem version 14.0.249.28
It's a fix for Power BI RS.
You can download it from the official website.
Thank you @v-diye-msft , I could only find the version "Microsoft Power BI Report Server - January 2020"
